Angers Chateau

Today we biked into town and went to a market. It was all organic food. We got crepes, bread, strawberries that tasted like candy, and other fruit. We got huge cheese: orange cheese and white cheese.

We also got yogurt from a dairy stand.
After that, we went to the big castle or chateau. My favorite part was the garden in the moat.
Before we saw the garden, we went through the gate, got our tickets, and went out into the big yard full of metal animals. Here are some of them!

And more!
When we did see the garden in the moat, it was big, beautiful, and gigantic. The castle must have a very talented gardener because all of the bushes were finely cut. Each time there were holes in the bushes, they filled the holes with reddish-pink roses.

When we went home, we swam in the pool for hours. Now we are going to go to sleep.

  1. Thanks, Ruby! Great description of your day! I'm glad you enjoyed the moat gardens... they're one of my favorite places on Earth! Maybe you can be the gardener there in a few years? Glad you enjoyed the pool, too. Keep having fun!

  2. Great post, Rubina! The cheese looks so yummy. And even though you haven't found an actual art museum yet, you found some outdoor sculpture! I like the mouse best.
