Farewell to England

We enjoyed three gloriously relaxing days with Giorgo, Martina, Rocco, and Gigia in Plymouth. We are well rested, stuffed full of good food, and thankful for enduring friendship.

The sun shone both yesterday and today, which gave us a chance to explore. Plymouth has some fabulous old boats that you can climb on at low tide.

We also strolled the grounds of an elegant estate with a fun look-out tower.

A beautiful sunshiny day, and we took everything at a slower pace.

Lots of rocks to skip and shells to collect.

We sure hope it’s not nine more years before we see Rocco again!

And off we go to France on the overnight ferry!! We are super duper excited.
